One Piece Film Gold's English-Subtitled Trailer Streamed
Australian distribution company Madman Entertainment began streaming an English-subtitled trailer for One Piece Film Gold on Friday. The film will premiere in Australia on September 3 at Madman Anime Festival.
The anime's official Japanese website began streaming the same trailer with no subtitles in May. The video previews the film's theme song "Ikari o Kure yo" by GLIM SPANKY. One Piece Film Gold opened in Japan on July 23. As of August 17, the film had earned 4,200,422,000 yen (about US$41.94 million) at the Japanese box office.
Toei is projecting that One Piece Film Gold will earn more than 6 billion yen (about US$56.46 million).
