New Original Anime for Masamune-kun's Revenge

The April issue of Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine is revealing on Tuesday that Hazuki Takeoka and Tiv's Masamune-kun's Revenge (Masamune-kun no Revenge) manga will get an original anime disc.

The magazine's next issue in March will reveal more details about the anime. Writer Takeoka and female Korean artist Tiv (Heaven's Memo Pad manga) launched the series in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine in 2012, and the manga is headed toward its climax.

Ichijinsha shipped the manga's ninth compiled volume in Japan on February 5. Seven Seas released the manga's seventh volume in English on January 23.

The manga inspired a television anime adaptation that premiered in January 2017.

Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan and Funimation streamed an English dub.
